We will finish reading Macbeth and answering the questions - which are all due on Monday (Acts 1 thru 5). I have pasted the Act 5 questions below.

Act V Scene 1

When did Lady Macbeth cease to take part in the action of the play?
How has she changed since then?
What is the doctor’s diagnosis of her condition, its causes, its nature?
Has the sleep walking scene been foreshadowed? Explain.
Has Macbeth been disturbed in his sleep because of his crimes?

Act V Scene 2

What information is given in Scene 2 of the English power?
What are Macbeth’s plans for defense?
What is said of Macbeth’s mental and emotional condition?

Act V Scene 3

Upon what does Macbeth rely at this time to make him feel safe?
Is Hecate’s plan being fulfilled? Explain.
How does Macbeth treat his attendants?
Explain what is meant by “lily-livered” and “linen cheeks”.
